The lodge features a spa/wellness center. Guests can also enjoy up-close game drives. Early morning and late afternoon game drives provide an ideal opportunity to view and photograph the diverse array of wildlife within the sanctuary. The water holes below provide a wonderful opportunity to view animals at close proximity in their habitat.
The lobby and terrace bar offers excellent views and photographic opportunities, while an underground tunnel and bunker with ground-level windows provide unbelievably close, yet safe access to a variety of animals as they drink water. Night game drives provide guests with an opportunity of seeing animals not usually encountered on the daytime game drive such as spotted and striped hyena, mongoose, jackal, civet, porcupine and bush baby.
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is 400 km from Nairobi and 200 km from Mombasa. The lodge is a one-hour flight from Nairobi or 30 minutes from Mombasa by private charter which lands at the lodge's own airstrip. The lodge is also close to Mzima Spring and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
