Elephant Watch Camp is a luxury tented camp with the highest eco-credentials, located in Samburu National Reserve. The camp is favorite retreat to wildlife enthusiasts, filmmakers, and opinion-shapers as it is regarded as one of the few places where wild elephants slide so close by to the side of your vehicle that you can reach out and touch them. The luxurious camp has six en suite tents crafted by naturally sourced materials offering a unique touch of the lodge. The units feature a sitting room with log fire, TV room and a shared dining area. Elephant watch has reliable solar powered electricity. Extra beds for children under 16 can be added to three for family rooms. Cots are available on request. The en-suite bathrooms are built around the gnarled trunks of acacia trees and are open to the African sky offering a reviving 'bush' shower expirience.
Guests are welcome in the kitchen, to chat or swap recipes, and the veggie garden too where they can pick fresh organic produce for the next meal.
