"Comfortable place with friendly staff"

Warmly welcomed at Papatuo by the friendly and helpful manager and staff. The place is clean and comfortable and there is air conditioning and a pool. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. There was no hot water in the bathroom, however the weather was so hot it wasn't too big an issue. It was not possible to tell from the indications provided where exactly the resort is. In fact it is towards the outskirts of town which means it is calm, but you do need transport to go shopping or to restaurants. Tuktuks can be hailed on the main road (5 min walk) during the day. At night it is best to arrange transport that comes directly to the resort entrance. The guard can arrange taxis but this is rather expensive. It may be best to get the number of a tuktuk driver and arrange directly.

"Perfect for families"

This is an affordable, comfortable hotel and most suitable for families with children. We were warmly welcomed by the most gracious manager who seemed very happy to have us. There are two pools, including a child pool. The waiters are for the most part very good but food choices are limited. The air conditioned rooms were very spacious, modern, and kept clean daily. My wife and I stayed in one room while the children stayed in the room next door. We saw families of varied ethnic backgrounds. Any issues we had were quickly addressed including trouble with operating the air conditioning controls in the children's room. Extra beds, bottled water, were also provided upon request. We left computers, Iphones and ipads in the room which were not touched the entire time we were there. The white sand beach was just a 5 min walk across the road. The manager was very helpful in suggestions of affordable local restaurants. Only issue was an unpleasant older waiter who smell like a drunkard.

"Very nice place"

The stay was nice. The swimming pool is cool. The breakfast is not flexible. There are utensils to cook your own foods. There are not lots of breakfast menus. Diani beach is just near. It's clean and safe with lots of sea activities.
