About Tabora Region
Tabora Region is one of the 30 administrative regions in Tanzania. Its capital is Tabora Municipality.Tabora was founded by Arab traders in the 1850s and used the town as the centre of slave trade.
The region is administratively divided into seven districts namely; Igunga, Nzega, Sikonge, Kaliua, Tabora Municipal, Uyui and Urambo.
