Fatick (also called Jinnak Bolon) is a region in central Senegal. The region is populated mainly by the Serer people and has a land area of 6,849 square kilometres. The region had a population of 684,652 according to the 2013 Census. The region is further divided into three departments: Foundiougne, Gossas and Fatick. The biggest city in the region is Fatick which also doubles as the region’s capital.
