Plateau State is located in the north-western part of Nigeria, it lies in the heart of the country and shares boundaries with Nassarawa, Benue, Taraba, Bauchi, Gombe and Kaduna states. The state got its name from the Jos Plateau Nigeria. Plateau State is made up an heterogeneous community of about forty ethno-linguistic group with similar traditions and lifestyle. The people are majorly farmers and Hausa is used as a common means of communication.
