About Okpanam, Delta State
Okpanam is a town in the south-south state of Delta, Nigeria. The town has a population of about 70,000 and its economy thrives mainly on agriculture and the civil service. The town, along with Asaba and Ibusa (also called Igbuzo), form a triumvirate which makes up the capital territory of Delta State. The town is the most underdeveloped among all the three towns making up the state capital territory. However, Okpanam is the biggest in terms of land area.
