Kwande is one of the 23 Local Government Areas in Benue State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is located in the town of Adikpo. Kwande is made up of 15 council wards. The LGA was created from the one time Katsina Ala Division during the 1976 Local Government Reform. It is bordered on the north by Vandeikya Local Government, Katsina-Ala on the northwest, Cross River State on the south and the Republic of Cameroon on the east.
