The Cross River National Park is a national park in Akampka, Cross River State, Nigeria. The park is made up of two sections namely the Okwangwo section and the Oban section. It has one of the oldest rainforests in Africa and a hotspot of biodiversity. About 16 primates comprising of the Cross River gorillas, Chimpanzees, the gray-cheeked mangabey and drills housed in the park. About 199 mammals, 63 frogs, 380 birds, 20 reptiles, 48 fishes and 950 butterfly species can be found in the park.
