Afijio is a Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is located in Jobele. The LGA is made up of 10 wards namely: Ilora I, Ilora II, Ilora III, Fiditi I, Fiditi II, Aawe I, Aawe II, Akinmorin/Jobele, Iware and Imini. It is bounded in the North by Oyo East Local Government Area, Akinyele Local Government Area in the South and Iseyin Local Government Area in the West. The LGA also shares common boundary with Ejigbo and Iwo Local Government Areas in the East.
Its indigenes are mostly farmers who cultivate food crops such as maize, guinea corn, yam, cassava, cowpea, soya beans, tomatoes and cash crops such as groundnuts, cocoa, oil-palm, kolanut, coffee, orange and citrus.
