About Inhambane Province, Mozambique
Inhambane province is located off the coast of southern Mozamique. It is made up of 12 districts, the provincial capital is Inhambane town. The Portuguese formed a permanent residence and trading centre in Inhambane as early as 1534. The province has a characteristic tropical climate, its coast have a number of mangrove swamps and supports fishing. Inhambane province is the second largest producer of cashew crops after Nampula, other crops are coconut and citrus fruit.

Some of the best destinations in Inhambane Province is the Bazarauto archipelago with beautiful beaches like Baia dos Cocos, Tofo Beach, Barra Beach, Jangamo Beach, Pomene, Praia de Zavala and Praia de Zavora.
