Cabo Delgado Province
Cabo Delgado is a Province in Mozambique, it shares borders with Tanzania to the north, Nampula to the south, Niassa to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east. Cabo Delgado is situated in the northernmost region of the country. Cabo Delgado is divided into 16 districts, where Penba is the capital of the Province. As of 2007, the population of the province stood at over 1.8 million inhabitants.

The bay of Pemba is the biggest in Africa with 50km of marvellous inlets and beaches. Start at Sagal Beach, Pecado, Maia Via, Wimbe and Marringanha Beach, after which there are kilometers of beaches from Chiuba to Mecufi. Murrebue Beach Situated 15 km from Pemba city amid swaying coconut palms with a long unspoiled coastline that contains varying shades of pristine azure waters. The Quirimbas National Park, stretching along the northeast coast of Mozambique, protects 750,639 hectares of coastal forest and mangroves, rich coral reefs and abundant marine life, including sea turtles, dugongs and hundreds of fish species. The park was established in 2002 to protect the region’s natural resources.
