The Adrar massif situated in northern Mauritania is full of stunning desert scenery, also two of the country’s historical cities is situated here. The Mauritania’s Coast is worth visiting, the most popular beach here is the Plage de Nouakchott, although the beach is prone to some strong current, so ask before going swimming. A few other attractions in Mauritania are Chinguetti town, Oualata city and Ouadane.
