About Meru Town
Meru Town is the headquarters of Meru County in the former Eastern Province of Kenya. Meru is the sixth largest urban centre in Kenya, and the agricultural hub near the northeastern part of Kenya. This town is inhabited mainly by the Meru people.
With the construction of Isiolo Airport and creation of learning institutions, Meru Town is rapidly growing and attracting more people. Meru Town lies next to the Kathita River.
