Tiassale is a city in the Tiassale department of Ivory Coast. The city was once of the Lagunes region, but is now under the Agneby-Tiassa region. Tiassale city is also the capital of the Tiassale department. The city primarily houses two major tribes: the Baule people and the Abbey people. The city of Tiassale is located halfway between the country’s major cities of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro with about 120 kilometres separating it from both cities at either side. As of 2010, the city had a population of 41,316.

Tiassale is connected to the city of N’douci by the Bandama River Bridge. The bridge, one of the most beautiful in Ivory Coast with 22 arches, has the Rivers N’zi and Bandama flowing under it. The Ahouakro Archaeological Park combines geomorphological, archaeological, cultural and geological features into one amazing natural beauty.
