Kakum National Park, Ghana
Kakum National Park is a park in the central region of Ghana, it is mostly made up of undisturbed rainforest. The park is a famous national park in Ghana. Kakum National Park is located about 33km north of Cape Coast, Central Regional capital. The park is enriched with different species of wildlife, the park features 40 species of mammals which includes forest elephants, buffalo, leopard, bongo, yellow backed duiker, red river hog, primates. It is also home to over 250 species of birds, a high number of reptiles and amphibians, and more than 400 species of butterflies.
