Masuku Travel Guide
Franceville is one of the four largest cities in Gabon. It located on River Mpassa and at the end of the Trans-Gabon Railway and the N3 road. This city grew from Masuku Village. Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza resettled former slaves, and renamed it 'Francheville' (which means a 'city of the freed' in French) in 1880. Later, the city became Franceville. This city's airport is 20 km West in Mvengué.
