About Nkongsamba, Cameroon
Nkongsamba is a Cameroonian city in the Moungo department of the Littoral region. The name of the city is sometimes spelled N’kongsamba or Nkongsomba. Nkongsamba is located at the foot of Mount Manengouba and is an agricultural centre for the production of bananas, coffee and oil palm. It has a population of 104,050 according to the country’s 2005 census. The agricultural produce from the city are sometimes sold in the neighbouring Bare village or sent by rail to Douala for export.
