About Maroua, Cameroon
Maroua is a city in the Far North Region of Cameroon in the foothills of the Mandara mountain. The city is also the capital of the Far North Region which is in turn regarded as the tourism capital of Cameroon. The city is a trading, agricultural and handcraft hub. The Far North region is the northernmost region of Cameroon and borders the North Region(to the south), Chad (to the east) and Nigeria (to the west).
