Waza National Park can be found in Cameroon's Logone-et-Chari department in the extreme north of the nation, and is one of Africa's great reservoirs of biodiversity. If you have an interest in nature, it is a wonderful place to spot lions, elephants, gazelles, hartebeests, hyenas and many more species.
A UNESCO listed heritage site, Waza is internationally recognised as a location of natural importance. In particular, it is known for its large mammal population, which exceeds other national parks in Cameroon, Congo and the DRC. Also famed for the high quality of its management, the park provides excellent accommodation and guides for visitors to use.
