The Reptile Village in Entebbe was started as a protection area for endangered species of reptiles. Currently, wildlife to see in this sanctuary includes snakes, crocodiles, lizards, tortoises and chameleons. This wildlife conservation area also aims at conserving the environment inhabited by reptiles.
Uganda Reptile Village is located in Bunono Village near Entebbe.
Its main aim is to protect endangered and rescued reptiles, and educate the public on how to live with them safely. Visit Reptile Village to view some of the world's deadliest snakes like the Baboon viper and cobras among other species. Other reptiles to see include crocodiles, tortoises, monitor lizards and chameleons among others.
