Lake Mburo National Park is situated in Kiruhura District in Western Uganda. Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest of the savannah national parks in the country.
More than 20% of the park is wetlands as 5 lakes lie within the park's borders forming part of a 50km-long wetland linked by a swamp.
Despite its size, the park is quite biodiverse, boasting over 350 bird species and numerous land animals. The park is home to a variety of wildlife species. has zebras, impalas, buffalos and hundreds of birds.
