Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park is located south of Wasini Island in the Kwale district.Kisite is one of the most rewarding snorkelling locations at the coast. The Marine Park is home of the dolphins as well as protection area for native marine animals and the breeding ground for migratory birds.
Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park lies in the coral gardens south of Wasini Island and encompasses three small coral rag forest islands.
From Ukunda/Diani, the park is 40km away.
Wearing only your swimsuit, snorkel and mask, you watch varied fishes like zebra, angel, snapper, butterfly, scorpion, rubber, puffer, damsel and too many other species to name!
From Diani, there are daily trips to Wasini Island that includes Kisite Marine Park for snorkelling and dolphin watching and sea food. The daytrip is from around 7am to 5pm.

To reach the park, board a boat at Shimoni and travel 11kms off the Kenyan Coast. From the Tanzanian border, it is only 8kms to the marine park.
