Escape the hectic streets of Gaborone and visit the Gaborone Game Reserve, for some quiet time with wildlife. The game reserve was setup by Kalahari Conservation Society in 1988 as an education centre on Botswana's wildlife. Albeit the small size of Gaborone Game Reserve, 5km2, it is the third busiest in Botswana.
Explore the Gaborone Game Reserve and view wildlife such as wildebeests, rhinos, warthogs, zebras and gemsboks among others. Engage in bird watching activity, as there are several bird species in the reserve.
The reserve is a short 10 minutes drive from Broadhurst Mall via Limpopo Drive. Since Gaborone reserve can be easily accessed by a small car, enjoy an afternoon outing with your family and carry a picnic basket.
