Visitors to this lush destination can board a flight from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Ukunda Airstrip from where most Diani hotels offer airport pickup. Alternatively, Moi International Airport at Mombasa is just 40 km to Diani Beach and transportation is easy by taking a shuttle bus or taxi and a short ferry ride.
The Madaraka Express from Nairobi to Mombasa takes 4.5 hours and from there, taking a shuttle bus or taxi to Mombasa. From Mombasa, take the ferry at Likoni to access the southern coastline where Diani Beach is.
