The beautifully constructed Cathedral de Sacré Coeur was opened in 1913 by the French. Later, the building was converted into a public library after Algeria got its independence.
Located in the heart of Oran, Cathedrale de Sacre Coeur is worth a visit. The building now houses a municipal library though it was originally a cathedral constructed by the French. It is a represantation of Algeria's history of French rule and later, its independence.
