An idyllic beach village not far north of the city of Zanzibar, Bwejuu is a tranquil destination in Tanzania that is the ideal place to relax.
The village of Bwejuu is Abeid Amani Karume International Airport on Zanzibar island itself, although Dar es Salaam International isn't far away either and offers more flight connections. From Dar es Salaam, travellers just need to hop on a ferry to Zanzibar, then take dalla-dalla (minibus) number 324 straight to the resort.
When you get to Bwejuu, you'll find a peaceful, sleepy seaside village with a gorgeous, seemingly endless beach. Fringed by palms and seafront bars, the beach offers safe swimming, snorkelling and the perfect spot for sunbathing in Tanzania's tropical climate. Taking a tour of the local seaweed farms of the bay is a fascinating experience while for nightlife fans, the party village of Paje is not far away either.
