Bamburi is a commercial city and residential area on the Kenyan north-coast popular for the white sandy beaches and Haller Park.
Haller Park is the main tourist attraction in Bamburi. It is a nature park, which was formerly a wasteland, now transformed into an ecological paradise. The park is home to a diverse number of plant and animal species. The park was famous because of Owen and Mzee, a hippopotamus and a tortoise that were close friends. Haller Park is a great place especially if you like nature.
Another point of interest is Bamburi Beach.
