Full Moon House, named by nocturnal fishermen for its guiding glow, is located on Lamu Island in Shela Village. Shela village is a tangle of narrow sandy lanes, tall stone houses, some smaller thatched dwellings, mosques, ruins and a spacious square ringed with a few market stalls; undisturbed by the turmoil of modern times, and exhudes a timeless serenity.
The villa is privately owned and designed with pure Swahili Style furniture. The villa shares a pool with Kiwandani House and neighbors Garden House.
The villa, furnished with antiques, offers a house with fully air conditioned rooms, en suite bathrooms and flat screen TVs with satellite/cable TV service. The house sleeps 6 guests and has a swimming pool. The villa also offers the services of a cook, room and laundry steward.
The house offers a self catering meal system where cooks do all the shopping and cooking for the clients. Guests get to relax on and awe at the breathtaking Lamu sun-downers or take trips on traditional Swahili dhows at their own pleasure.
